XFdtd's antenna modeling capabilities are keeping pace with 5G design requirements by providing an Array Analysis capability.  The full wave solver in XF is used to compute the S-Parameters, efficiencies and far field for each of the elements in all the arrays of a device.  The antenna Array Analysis tool then uses that information to optimize the phases of the feeds for each element over a set of desired beam angles. A cumulative distribution function (CDF) plot is then generated for one or more arrays to provide a total metric of the performance of the device.
